Tudexitii

Tudexitii/Tudexiti; a neogender/non-xenine umbrella term connected to/affected by delight & beauty in death & the macabre.

this term is characterized by adrenaline, thrill, fun, blood, flirting/playing with death, catharsis, instincts, the thrill of a chase, banter, blood, bloodlust, hunting, restlessness, murder, etc etc!

can also be connected to death with no consequences, seeing death as intimate or a game, love intertwined with death & hunting, death in a positive or romanticized light, etc, but doesn’t have to be!

Tfw you realize D's job as a hunter, a savior of humanity from the revenant effectively becomes thankless due to his half-vampire heritage. Any bonds he makes with his allies are ultimately short lived because they are only mortal. Thus, he keeps the world at arm's length.

Meier's refusal to turn Charlotte faces a similar issue of mortality. She will either die well before he does or fall prey to the curse of the Nobility. If they procreate, the child is also inevitability damned.

D and Meier's ultimate crime comes from simply...existing. D is chased out of town whose children he rescued from a Noble. He is still one of them after all. Meier dared to love a human woman and leave together.

Leila watched as The Marcus Brothers-- who practically treated her as their own-- get picked off one by one. Borgoff becomes one of the Nobility, thereby making her, in a way relive when her mother came back the same before she had to be killed. Kyle and Nolt are killed in different parts of the film. Grove sacrificed his life to save Leila and set free Borgoff of the Noble's curse.

D finds allyship in the granddaughter of a woman he met many years prior. Her existence will also go the way of the winds.

This film has strong themes of existential sadness and tragic inevitability in its framework and I wish people talked about it more.

a gender related to the concept of being a new vampire- waking up with blood on your hands that you don’t know how it got there, feeling unexplainable bloodlust, primal urges, the sheer dread of knowing that you don’t want to give into your bloodlust, but you have no choice so you do, paranoia, the pain of growing fangs, having blood on your teeth, feeling like you’re living in a nightmare, daggers through the heart, the concept of the living dead, the horror of realizing you don’t have a heartbeat, seeing your reflection vanish from the mirror before your very eyes, and other fledgling vamp concepts!

Okay I'll do a full post on them later, but I've got the tl;dr on ZZZ Fischl, Oz, and Sancho.

Fischl is generally unaffiliated with other groups and organizations, operating under her own banner and organization. She dedicates her time to searching for "Immernachtreich" - a 'hollow within the hollow' that she refers to as her "kingdom by blood-right." The location of the "Immernachtreich Hollow" is unknown, and she says that it is somewhere within Hollow Zero as its own, entirely separate entity that is lost within. Notably, she carries the demon horns and accompanying design of her Alt Project Moon design. (Beru Ver)

Her own past is largely unknown to her, just that she used to go by the name "Amy" when she was younger, until she found the drive and purpose to hunt for Immernachtreich. The source of this drive and purpose comes from her companion: Ozvaldo Hrafnavines.

In ZZZ, Oz is effectively an ancient demon. Playing off of my personal interpretation of Immernachtreich and The Abyss I have previously written, Oz is a representative of Immernachtreich - proof that it is real. He's an ancient ethereal dating back to the oldest days of Hollows, and was caretaker of "Immernachtreich" until over time it drifted away and he lost it while he was out on business.

In an effort to rediscover the location of Immernachtreich, he found someone who was willing to make a deal with him in a moment of desperation: Amy. At the time he made the deal, he didn't think much of how it would affect her - he simply gave her power in exchange for human aide to find what he was looking for. This is the origin of Fischl's power in this verse, a series of tattoos on her left arm that allow Oz to bleed his power in to Fischl's body, allowing her to act as a conduit for primordial lightning.

In a pinch, Oz can also use these as a one-way conduit to Fischl's location in a pinch, which is important as he has slowly grown to care for her and worry about the consequences of his own decisions and how he has, effectively, undone the girl "Amy" to create "Fischl" for his own goal. His story is effectively learning what it means to be human and how perhaps a lost and abandoned kingdom isn't worth going after when he has something more important now.

As for Sancho, her verse translation is much more sparse than Fischl and Oz's. She's a vampire who was cast out from her family at her Father's wishes in order to live a dream for him, but was unable to realize that dream and awoke from it to the waking world and nightmare of reality - the desolate world that ZZZ takes place in, looking past the more cheerful design tones at what has become of the world.

Now that she's been "awake" for a while, she's trying to find a way back to her home, which she has come to realize was swallowed whole by Hollow Zero. After some research, she has come to occasionally be visible in the company of Fischl because she thinks that there is a chance that the "Immernachtreich" that Fischl is looking for might be where her Family used to be.

She wields a form of blood arts where she can use her own blood to form weapons, but she also composites them with the materials and elements available to her, effectively making these hardened blood-and-metal-and-stone weapons she can use to siphon elemental powers from her foes and turn them against them or use them defensively.

She is more aloof than Fischl is, and tends to see others around her as beneath her, but she is also particularly vulnerable to feeling lonely, so she will (reluctantly) let people hang around her and talk to her while she isn't busy.

While I'm on the topic lmao I've only dabbled in ff7 before, but recently I'm getting more into the fandom side and like... I was expecting zelda but technogrunge (most of my ff knowledge is from ff15) and it's actually a lot more bloodborne-esque than I thought.

Like I knew about the human experimentation and genocides but like... Wow.
